Bachelorette Party Planning
To say that the COVID-19 pandemic has made life difficult would be an understatement. My sweet sister was originally supposed to be getting married June 6th, but she moved the wedding to August due to concerns. We were going to have a girls trip for her bachelorette back in April, but had to move that also [sigh]. So after things in our state were beginning to reopen, we decided to move the location of the girls trip, and go to a lake here in Oklahoma and go on a float trip! We traveled down to Hochatown, OK and spent some time at Broken Bow Lake. It was a fun weekend for sure!
But then, with the terrible luck we were having, the float (kayaking) adventure got cancelled the day before we were set to leave [UGH] because of releasing water from the lake up north. The river was not open for floating…leaving us grappling to come up with a plan B. So I found as many pool floaties as I could from my local Target, and we headed out for a day at the lake! We had plenty of sun, drinks, and hot weather, and it was still a great time for my sister with all of her dearest friends. I tie dyed tank tops for us to wear to the lake too!
Floatin’ Such a hot bride! Gorgeous day! The Bride Tribe
If you’re traveling down to Hochatown, we loved eating at Grateful Head Pizza, Mountain Fork Brewery, the Blue Rooster, and Mexico Lindo! Our cute tees were made by Get Branded Custom Tees, and I’ve linked most of the decor and other things I purchased below!
So there’s my bachelorette planning details! If you have any questions or need any tips, drop them below in the comments! Luckily, my sister and all of the girls ended up having a blast, and as your “last hoorah” as a bride, I think that’s really all you can ask for!
