Fun with Summer Scarves

I bet you thought your grandma’s silk scarves would never come back in style!

And I’m sure you’ve seen lots of people styling scarves so far this year. Whether in the form of a hair scarf, a neck scarf, or on your handbag, wearing scarves can jazz up any outfit! This trend repeatedly comes back, so if you’re hesitant about how to to style a beautiful scarf…then look no further! I’ve also linked many beautiful and affordable scarves below if you’re feeling adventurous to try out this trend! It would also be a lot of fun to go treasure hunting and find some vintage scarves at local thrift stores and vintage shops.

In the above photographs, I’m wearing a beautiful floral scarf I found at H&M a few weeks ago. After wearing that beautiful scarf featured in my Cabi blog post, I wanted to try more scarves to see how to style them and to successfully pull off the trend. I have a large head (that’s full of knowledge!), so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could in fact tie this scarf around my head for an adorable headband! This would also look cute if I had worn my hair up in a ponytail or bun, as well as also tying the scarf around a ponytail. There’s a lot of ways to tie a scarf into a hairstyle, and this trend is super popular for the year! (Sunglasses linked here)

A scarf on a handbag is a trend I’ve styled before, and it always comes back! (Like many things….except moon boots. Just say no to those!) It always seems to add an extra bit of flair to a handbag, and can add a fun touch of color! You can also style a scarf like this around your wrist as a bracelet, which turns out quite cute as well!

Lastly is the classic look of a neck kerchief. Classic looking, especially with a button-front shirt. I love how it adds a touch of class and color to this relatively tame outfit! It can be tied at the neck, or tied loose in a knot closer to the bottom which looks especially cute with more t-shirt type shirts, and can also serve the purpose of keeping your neck cool during the hot summer months! This is a classic look, and also being styled with dresses can add such a fun look to any outfit.

So there is a simple testimonial on why you should definitely attempt to rock the summer scarf look! I know I’ll certainly be utilizing scarves and kerchiefs more in my outfits, and you should too!

Also to note here, due to ShopStyle limitations, if you shop this post via your cellphone or tablet (which is very much appreciated!), if the ShopStyle links prompt you to open an app for shopping such as Amazon, Old Navy, etc., please don’t shop through these apps and instead just deny the request and use your web browser! ShopStyle and related blogging affiliates can’t track cookies and online interest in the items that bloggers such as myself share via specific apps, so therefore my data is lost! I know it can be a little annoying, but it is greatly appreciated by many bloggers and influencers…including the Product Junkie!

Thanks as always for reading loves!
