Can you believe that the month of July is already over and the summer’s end is fast approaching also?? I don’t know what it is about this year, but it is FLYING! I tend to simplify my makeup routine a bit in the summer, but I’ve got a few fun things to discuss that I tried out this month, along with a few tried and true favorites. Let’s jump right in!

Firstly, is this new texturizing spray I tried out on a random whim during one of my numerous Ulta trips. I’m always on the hunt for a price-worthy alternative to my beloved Oribe Dry Texturizing spray. This OGX Dry Texturizing Spray comes in at $8.99, and definitely adds air-spun texture to styled hair. Secondly, is this beautiful eyeshadow palette I shared during Target Deal Days. Now that I’ve had multiple occasions to wear it, I am loving this Milani Pure Passion palette and it’s super affordable! They are well pigmented and in some gorgeous pink, burgundy and warm shades to transition from summer into fall! Here’s how mine looked just the other night when I wore it!

Next on the list of favorites is a razor that I’ve been using for well-over a year now, but I just absolutely love it! I tried out a razor from Billie last summer, and I will never use another razor ever again! This baby has five blades, charcoal-infused shave soap around the head, is magnetic so it clings to a special holder in your shower or tub, and they send you refills for the head on your razor when you need them!

Next on the list of favorite items this month is the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Lip Color. I’ve owned this in a few different colors, one in “Ruler” and one in “Lover”. I recently purchased this beautiful, deep magenta shade labelled “Artist”. This is an excellent lip product for a budget-friendly price! It’s richly pigmented, applies extremely easily, and has some serious staying power! I’m talking all day, drinks with your friends, dinner with your S.O. kind of staying power. That’s some serious pluses for a lip product that’s under $10! If you love a matte liquid lipstick, I would highly encourage you to add this one to your arsenal.
