March Beauty Favorites
It’s that time of the month again! Okay….well maybe not THAT time, but my favorite time…beauty favorites of the month! With the Ulta 21 days of beauty going on right now, I’ve purchased quite a few new products to try out during the next month. However, for now I have some tried and true favorites as well as some new additions to my beauty routine to discuss! I’ve got makeup to delve into, my new favorite hair tool, and some skin care products…so let’s get this party started!
First on the favorites this month is the Thrive Causemetics Soft HD Setting Powder. I purchased this powder back in February, so I have had plenty of time to get acquainted with it and I have really come to love this powder. The packaging of the powder is great with it having a convenient lid so there is no spillage or lost product, and it has a fine grate for you to dip your powder brush or beauty blender in to pick up as much or as little powder as you like. It is a great setting powder for all skin types and it worked great in my under-eye area because it doesn’t settle into fine lines as much as other setting powders that I have tried. AND this makeup company is so neat because they donate a product for every product purchase to a woman in need…so makeup with a cause! Even better!
Next on the March beauty favorites is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I saw a makeup artist that I follow on Instagram using this product on her face and when she applies her makeup…so I of course had to look it up! This spray is a multi-use product, and feels heavenly on the skin! I use it in the morning to freshen up my skin by spritzing it on my face, and then also using it to dampen my Beauty Blender when applying makeup. It smells absolutely amazing, and is formulated with toning rosemary, astringent mint, and soothing rose organic essential oil to prepare your skin for further treatments or makeup. It improves dullness, tightens pores, and refreshes your skin and makeup for a burst of radiance. It packs a lot for such a tiny bottle, so give the small bottle a try if you’re interested! It comes in at $15 for the small bottle, and it’ll last you well over a month to really test it out!
Next up on the favorites is an all-natural deodorant I’ve been using for months and I have really loved it! I started using all-natural deodorants last summer and began using the Native first. It was highly recommended, and I enjoy at the multiple scents, auto-shipping capabilities, and the paraben-free and aluminum-free formula. I’ve tried both the coconut vanilla scent and the lavender, but the coconut is for sure the best! It lasts well throughout the day, works well as a sweat absorber with several natural ingredients to keep your underarms fresh! I also tried the new Dove 0% Aluminum as well, and while I liked how it felt in the underarm area, the Native formula is the best for odor protection, all day use, and for sweat absorption. Give them a look and try for yourself! You can order online, or now you can find the Native line at a Target store near you.
If you’ve caught any of my Instastories lately, you’ll know that I have searched high and low to find these Milani lip glosses. The Milani Keep It Full Lip Glosses are great lip glosses, and here I have pictured are the shades: Luminoso, Rosewood, and Soft Rose (left to right). I am in LOVE with these and I would easily compare them to my favorite Buxom plumping glosses. The Rosewood color especially is the perfect shade of rose (it looks darker than it is in this photo) and packs more color than the others. Soft rose is a beautiful nude/rose color, and the luminoso was too fun of a coral to resist! The best place to find these beauties is your local drug store or Target.
YA’LL….IT’S FINALLY TIME TO TALK ABOUT THIS CURLING WAND.
I received this wand for my birthday back in January, and I’m still having so much fun playing with it, testing out different curling styles and barrel sizes! It’s made by one of my favorite beauty and hair bloggers, and I am obsessed with the capabilities of it. The Flourish Interchangeable Curling Wand is the ultimate hair curling tool and I have several reasons why you should consider adding it and making it your go-to curling tool.
– It comes with three barrel sizes (shown above) in 19, 25, and 32 mm
– Made of 100% titanium, they heat up extremely fast and thoroughly (like in less than 30 seconds)
– You will use every single barrel size, because I have! To easily change your look and wave pattern…just experiment with the sizes!
– Automatic shutoff is husband approved! Okay, maybe just mine…but it’s nice to know you won’t burn your house down with this puppy! It heats to 450 degrees!
I will be filming a hair curling tutorial very soon, and I can’t wait to show you guys how I use this curling wand and why I love it so much!
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about some of my favorite products this month. As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! In the meantime, I’ll just go around making kissy faces in my new favorite lip gloss 🙂
xoxo, Chelsea
P.S. Sunnies are an Amazon find and I’m also in love with them. Here is where you can find them!
