Nursery Reveal
38 weeks and counting!
Great time to finish the nursery, right??
Truthfully, I had it 98% done, I was just waiting on a few final touches and a bit of a clean-up / de-clutter before I snapped pictures, but I finally decided to finish it up this weekend! Great timing too, because we found out today that we are being induced next week! EEK!
Little Miss Olivia is going to make her appearance, and while she may not be sleeping in this room just quite yet – I’m a little obsessed with it! I’ll tell you what some of my inspiration was from pulling it all together, and I’ll also include the special touches that are in here too! Plus, I also linked some of the items that I could at the end of the post in case you’re also in the nursery planning process. Let’s get started!
The first things I knew that I wanted to include in her nursery was floral wallpaper and a board and batten wall. Luckily, my handy husband knocked out the latter, and my Mom and I tackled the wallpaper when we painted the nursery! The wallpaper is linked below and was a gorgeous Etsy find, and the paint color for the remaining walls was a Lowe’s color match for the Magnolia Home Paint Collection “Ella Rose” shade. It’s such a beautiful, soft pink!
Next, my Mom helped us pick out our crib, and from there it was piecing all of the things together! Her white dresser and changing table was an antique find, and I used mineral fusion paint on it and the book shelf for a custom look! The sage green paint from Mineral Fusion was called “Lichen”.
Two of the special touches that I love in her room are her custom crib bedding that my mother made, thanks to coordinating fabric from Spoonflower! I kind of died a little when we realized we found fabric that matched the wallpaper we had picked out! The cross-stitch picture above her crib is also extremely special, as my Mom had made it for my nursery over 31 years ago. Now it has a permanent home in my baby’s room!
The glider/rocker was a Buy Buy Baby find, and I’ve linked similar below! I love the little rocking/reading nook in her room thanks to the floating shelves from Ikea that display some of our most precious books. Instead of cards at my shower, guests brought books – so Olivia has plenty of books to read for a good while! We also have custom artwork that was a gift from my sister that we love, as well as other small beloved trinkets that help make the room feel so special. The rug was a gorgeous Wayfair find that I had my eye on for a while, and luckily it ties in with the room perfectly! For a little bit I was so nervous to see it all come together, but now it’s one of my favorite rooms in our whole house!
Like I mentioned above, I linked what I could below, and if you have any questions about anything else you spy in the pictures feel free to leave a comment below!
We are as prepared as we can be before Livi’s arrival, so until then I’ll talk to you after I’ve entered the realm of sleep-deprived motherhood and hopefully check in with you all soon! Wish me luck!
