Top 5 Shower Favorites
I’ve decided to start a new series of blog posts – my top five faves!
Today, we are going to start with my top five favorite shower products and why I love them so much! As most women know, there are at least three different kinds of female showers. There’s the “quick, rinse-off, minimal soap shower”, followed by the “hair wash day plus more” shower, and finally the “going to shave my legs, exfoliate, deep condition and get my life together” shower. I’ve got products that accomplish all of those things that I love! So here they are.
Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs – I personally love the Vitamin C one the best, but these sugar scrubs are perfect for using in the dry winter months, before any self-tanning products, or helpful with any KP bumps you might get on the back of your arms too!
Redken Extreme Length Shampoo/Conditioner – I purchased this during the Ulta liter sale, and I am so glad I did. My hair is bouncing back from the postpartum hair fallout/breakage cycle, and this shampoo and conditioner is formulated with added biotin. I know the title says “extreme lengths”, but this could also just be for anyone who is also just trying to strengthen their damaged hair and reduce breakage at any length!
Kristin Ess The One Purple Shampoo – I’ve tried a lot of purple shampoos that are on the market, and this one by far is my favorite. It’s the most affordable for the violet punch it packs in keeping brassiness away from blonde and platinum hair. When I shampoo in the shower, I always start with the Redken shampoo to really get my hair clean, and then use the purple shampoo as the secondary shampoo to tone and brighten it before conditioning. This leads me to my next favorite product…
Pravana Perfect Blonde Toning Masque – my hairstylist has always complimented me on how well I take care of my blonde hair. This product is why. I use it about every two weeks to keep the brass at bay! It’s extremely concentrated violet tones help to reduce unwanted brassiness in lightened hair, and my hair also feels softer after using too. I have sworn by this for years!
Billie Razor and shaving cream – It’s 2023 ya’ll. If you haven’t joined the Billie squad I’m not sure what you’re still shaving with. It’s the best razor I have ever used, and the shaving cream puts it over the top. It’s definitely worth adding to your subscription, and makes your shaving experience even more luxurious.
When it comes to body wash, I’m a simple gal and prefer Dove Deep Moisture body wash. Plain and simple, and it gets the job done! I’ve also been known to be a little *boujee* and use essential oil sprays in the shower to enhance the spa-like experience, but as a busy mom those showers aren’t always possible either!
I hope you’ve enjoyed learning more about a few of my favorite shower products! I am working on future blog “fave five” posts including skincare, makeup, items in my purse, and more! What are some of your favorite showering products? I’d love to know in the comments below!
