Sweater Weather and Fall Fashion Pieces
Life has been absolutely crazy lately!
Between the construction work inside and outside of our house, moving all kinds of things around, and the chaos that ensues afterwards, my life has been nothing short of busy. Then we found out that we got approved to rescue this sweet new puppy (YAY!!!), so we have been busy getting our house ready for a new little set of paws this weekend! With all of that said, I didn’t get to the hair blog post I wanted to cover this week, but I do have some excellent new fashion pieces added to my arsenal over the last two weeks! I’ve got pieces from Amazon, Walmart, Old Navy, and more! And I’ve got tops, sweaters, and this excellent new pair of jeans that I’m loving! Here’s some quick links below.
First off is this Old Navy ensemble featuring this gorgeous wine-colored sweater and my new favorite jeans. Truly, the Pop-Icon skinny went on and felt like they were just made for me. Forgiving to curvy figures, not too skin-tight at the ankle, and a nice high waist! I also loved this cardigan type sweater, and I love how it looks buttoned with a front-tuck! I’m wearing my true size Large in it, but you can also size up for a looser or longer fit.

The next item is this super versatile v-neck tank that I ordered from Amazon. I’ve looked and looked at it, and finally pulled the trigger and I’m so glad I did! It’s a fully-functional button front, and is well made! Flowy fabric and tortoise buttons make for the perfect layering piece for blazers, sweaters and cardigans in the fall and winter! I’m wearing an XL for reference, so the size chart for the tank was spot on.

The next item I ordered was from Walmart! Truly, I am shocked as to how much they are killing it this year when it comes to clothing, but this lightweight sweater is perfect for layering! I ordered an XL, and while I could have easily sized down one or two sizes, it really was perfect to throw over a flannel shirt, or is also long enough to wear solo with leggings! I tied it up just because it was too big, but it was extremely soft and comfortable! I also wanted to show you guys how well these Pop Icon Skinnies look from the rear-view! (Points for no mom-butts here!)

This last sweater was a total impulse buy from another blogger that I follow after she had shared it in a different color way. I loved the bold stripes, and the poofy sleeves are so fun on it too! It’s my first purchase from the Pink Lily Boutique, but it surely won’t be my last! They have sizes from S-2X on some things, and you can usually score at least 20% off your order! It also comes in a pink and a lavender color palette, but I loved the neutrals in this sweater and knew it was one I could wear for many seasons.

So there ya have it! A few new fun fashion finds, because I have too much going on to film anything else! (Can’t really film a tutorial with jackhammering in the background…ugh) But I will have a full post with our mini-bathroom remodel once it’s done in the next couple weeks, plus a hair tutorial planned and other fun stuff! Thanks as always for reading, and if you have any questions about any of the items feel free to comment below!
