Things I’m Loving Lately
Happy hump day, guys!
I thought it might be fun to compile a random assortment of things I’ve been loving and using lately! These things are everywhere from books, to beauty products, and more! I was struggling trying to come up with some content this week, and then I figured you guys might be interested in some random finds! So here we go…
Firstly, the number one makeup product I’ve been using lately is the Tula Face Filter Primer. I use this every day in lieu of foundation, because it gives me enough coverage for a light days makeup, and I love the glow that it also gives you! Even better, it self-adjusts to your skin tone to give you a customized look! I apply it with just a bit of powder on top, and I’ve got just enough coverage for a day’s work! It’s great for that natural, no-makeup/makeup look.
Next, I wanted to share my eyebrow tinting kit that I use with you guys! It’s so easy to do yourself at home, and the results can last for weeks and weeks. Here is the kit for light brown and the kit for natural brown. You simply mix a bit of the dye cream with 6-8 drops of oxidizer and brush it on your brows. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes, and then wipe off with a cotton pad! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
You’ve probably heard me discuss this facewash before on the blog or over on Instagram, but I’m still a big fan of the Botanic Tree Glycolic Acid facewash! I’ve even gotten my sister and my husband to use it too! I use it every other day, following my normal facewash and I love the gentle exfoliation and clean feeling it leaves on my face! AHA’s, found in glycolic acid, are great for exfoliation, anti-aging and lessening of wrinkles.
I’ve been doing a ton of reading over the last two months, including some wonderful mystery books that include:
–The Daughter by Jane Shemilt
–The Outsider by Stephen King
–The Lying Game by Ruth Ware
–The Girls in the Garden by Lisa Jewell
–The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
And New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp – which is a daily devotional book, and my first book like that! I’ve really enjoyed it thus far, and I will continue to do so for the rest of the year.
Lastly, I ordered some sunglasses from DIFF eyewear during their BOGO sale (which is still going on!), and I’ve loved the pairs I received! They include this pair of aviators pictured above, and I love that they aren’t extremely oversized! This is the NOA style, and I also purchased the Bella frames. You can get $20 off your first pair with DIFF through my DIFF ambassador code, so go take a look and get yourself some fresh sunnies for summer!
Hope you find some new random things that perk your interest! Until next week…
